This customization and web sharing is part of a larger trend, and applying it to videogames seems like a guaranteed success. Not only would it allow for more buzz to keep the game cool for longer, the customization aspect would be a great wealth of knowledge for video game developers. Being able to watch what's being produced and shared is an easy way to find out what the public wants, and in turn they can create games that are better suited to the public's interest.
